Categories without players
The league's previous site offered individual batting, fielding and pitching leaders and their three team equivalents; the new one leads with a Stats and Standings link. No figure for any player renders in either.
For a league that inducts five men a year into a Hall of Fame with published criteria, the absence of a statistical record is the gap that matters most — a case for induction is easier to make with numbers behind it. Statistics on High Cheese come out of the box scores as they are entered and follow a man between clubs, divisions and seasons, so a Hall of Fame argument has a career under it.
