Two fixed dates, both off the diamond
The published calendar is not a playing schedule. It runs a donation drive from May, the Hall of Fame induction and all-star games on the morning of August 1 at Slatington, and the first annual golf outing and awards dinner on October 11 — announced as a save-the-date in May, five months ahead.
Building the year around three events the whole membership attends is how a charity keeps a league together between Sundays. No season start, finish or fixture date appears anywhere. A High Cheese calendar carries the playing season and the league's own events on one subscription, so a golf outing and a rained-off Sunday reach the same phone.
