Named, addressed, and honest about availability
The league publishes all seven with addresses: Whitehouse at 11100 General Ave, Marietta at 320 Jackson Ave, Woodstock at 665 Saint Claire St, San Mateo at 1185 Kraft Rd, Greenland Park, Rondette Park at 3551 Rondette Lake Rd, and Fort Family on Baymeadows Drive East — that last one marked limited use this season.
Flagging a ground as restricted, rather than leaving it on the list and disappointing somebody, is a small honesty most leagues skip. The rulebook adds who carries the burden when the weather goes: the home manager acquires a field for a rained-off game himself and coordinates the umpires. High Cheese ties the ballpark, the address and the map to the fixture, so a rearranged Sunday at Woodstock is findable rather than negotiated by text.
Jacksonville MABL in detail
- Competitive, wood bat, MSBL/MABL affiliate, since 1988 — and governed in extraordinary detail.
- A Games for Today block with no games in it.
- A Current Standings panel on the front page, showing a top five of nobody.
- Two weeks to make up a rainout, and a forfeit for whichever club cannot.
- Sixteen to start, final by June 1, and playing an ineligible man costs a manager his season.
- A Clubhouse and a Current Players section, with nothing published in either.
- A registration form, and no email address, telephone number or name anywhere.
- A spring draft at Marietta Bulls Bay Park, and $50 that you must not claim back.
- Fourteen sections: run rules, A/B slots, borrowed players, and no white sleeves for pitchers.
- Three articles, all posted the same day, none of them about this league.
- A 2025 Season Teams block and three testimonials — and no photograph.
- Nobody is thanked in public.
- Six league games to be eligible, MABL events at 18-27 and MSBL at 28 and over.
- Since 1988 on the badge, and a History page carrying the national body's boilerplate.
- A President, a Board of Directors, a League Office and a Field and Umpire Director.
- Who and where are answered exhaustively. When and how much are not.
- A fourteen-section rulebook, online waivers, and two borrowed codes.
- A March draft, a Jamboree, fees due June 1, and rosters locked the same day.
- The Hops Store, selling team clothing online.
- One umpire and the game is played; none and it is cancelled — and the Board backs them.
