A slot held open
The league's standings page carries a Tournament division alongside the 40+ and the 60+, so a postseason or an event is provided for in the structure. Nothing is entered against it. Its Roy Hobbs affiliation connects it to the national organization's own tournament programme, which the site links to directly.
Roy Hobbs is the second-largest adult baseball body in the country and its calendar is the reason a north Alabama 60+ side keeps a roster together over a winter. High Cheese builds and runs a bracket off the standings the season already produced, so a Tournament division fills itself the moment the regular season ends.
