Seven towns, one province to get out of
The GTBL is a Senior AAA league with clubs in Ajax, East York, Kendal, Leaside, Newmarket, Thornhill and Northumberland, affiliated through the TBA to the Ontario and Canadian governing bodies. Its own statement of purpose is a target: the teams attend the Ontario Elimination Tournament annually, hoping to represent Ontario at the National Championships.
It is also, by some distance, the best-run public record in this directory — a full constitution, a weekly written recap of every round, a standings table carrying points, games behind, last ten and run differential, and individual player statistics going back more than twenty years. High Cheese takes a league already doing all of that by hand and lets one entry do the work: a score that becomes the box score, the table, the player's line and the season record in one motion, on an address the league owns.

- Funded by fees and bonds, with no sponsor named.
- The Ontario Elimination Tournament, the Hap Walters, and a league championship of its own.
- Individual seasons on file from 2004, with a two-year gap where the world stopped.
- Five elected offices, one currently vacant, and every holder named on the contact page.
- Three of five answered, and the two that are missing are the ones a new player asks.
- A full constitution and bylaws, published in the top corner of every page.
- A January annual meeting, dues by July 1, and a wrap-up within sixty days of the final.
- Nothing is for sale.
- An Umpire in Chief who is also the scheduler, and a per-club fee for the booking.
