Including poetry
The league runs Latest News, a blog, front-page articles and an image feed. It also keeps a section called Poetry, and another called In Memoriam.
A baseball league with a poetry page is not a thing you find twice. Ninety-seven years produces writers, and this one gives them somewhere to publish.
A league on High Cheese gets a wire of its own where finals post themselves as books are finalized, which frees whoever is currently writing to write the things only a person can.
