Kept division by division, and awarded monthly
The league publishes 2026 Statistics for each of its six divisions and names a Player of the Month. Managers log in to a separate product, 400Hitter, to enter their numbers.
Naming a player every month, across a league this size, means somebody is reading the statistics rather than merely storing them. That is rarer than keeping them at all.
The cost is that the numbers live in a third-party product a manager has to remember to update after an 8:30pm Wednesday game.
Scoring on High Cheese produces the figures as a byproduct of the game being scored at the field, so the Player of the Month falls out of the season rather than out of somebody's data entry.
