What the fee actually includes
The league is registering both teams and free agent players for spring, states that all positions are welcome, and lists exactly what a fee covers: a full time commissioner, flexible master scheduling, multiple skill levels across wood and metal divisions, league field slots, field and accidental medical insurance, a league and team website for stats and schedules, Wilson A1010 game baseballs, umpire assigning, and proactive customer service.
Nine line items. Naming the baseball by model is the detail that gives it away: this is somebody who has been asked what he provides often enough to write it all down.
The amount itself is not published. Everything a fee buys is listed and the price is not.
High Cheese gives a league a join page carrying the same list with the number attached, and a free agent pool so an unattached player is placed rather than added to an inbox.
