Sold as a benefit
The league lists a league and team website for statistics and schedules among the nine things included in a fee, and the site itself is named allstarteamstats.
Statistics are being kept, then, and treated as something a club is paying to receive. What a visitor can read is nothing: the pages that hold them are drawn in a script and do not render.
Scoring on High Cheese produces the numbers as a byproduct of the game and puts each at-bat on the player's own profile, so the thing already being sold is also findable.
