Three valleys, one Sunday
VABL runs Sunday baseball in Ventura County across three distinct places -- the Ojai Valley School upper campus inland, Two Rivers Park in Fillmore, and coastal grounds in Ventura itself -- with a 35-and-over division carrying the Mets, the Ballers, the Blacksox, the Dodgers, the Padres and the Twins.
Games start at half past nine in the morning and half past one in the afternoon.
It keeps a free agent sign-up, schedule, scores, standings, statistics, league rules, locations, news, registration and archives of its 2023 and 2024 seasons.
What distinguishes it from every other league in this directory is a document about heat, which it treats as a safety protocol rather than a suggestion.
A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns, so a competition already publishing this carefully owns the record of it.
