Who the Southern Yankees are
The Southern Yankees are an adult baseball club in the 35+ National division of the South Florida Baseball League, playing in and around Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach.
They finished 8-3-1 for 17 points, a winning percentage of .708, and came out +40 on runs across twelve games.
They have won the league three times. They play home games at Sabal Pines Park.
Thirty clubs play here across those four tables, from Miami Lakes down to Delray Beach, which is a long way to drive for a Sunday morning game.
A club that came out +40 on runs has a season worth more than a table row, and High Cheese is where the rest of it goes.
