Scarborough Adult Baseball League

Scarborough Adult Baseball League Documents

A constitution, a code of conduct, provincial safety protocols and a scoresheet in two halves.

Including the scoresheet itself

The league publishes six documents: its constitution, its code of conduct, Baseball Ontario's removal from sport protocol and return to sport strategy, and its own scoresheet as two files -- front and back.

Publishing the scoresheet is the tell. This is a league that expects every game to be scored on paper by somebody, and rather than assume a manager has a book, it gives him the exact form the league's box scores are built from.

Adopting the provincial body's removal and return protocols means an injured or concussed player in this league is handled to the same standard as a minor.

A scoresheet filled in on a phone at the ground, feeding the box score, the standings and the leaders directly, is what a High Cheese league page replaces those two PDFs with -- and the constitution and the protocols sit at the same address.
