A whole Sunday, one field
The schedule stacks: a Sunday running 8:30am, 10:55, 1:20, 3:45, 6:10 and 8:35 -- six games in twelve hours, back to back at two hours twenty-five minute intervals, with each pair of clubs playing both ends of their double before the next pair take the field.
Thursdays carry two evening games at six and half past eight, and Saturdays the same.
Intervals that precise mean the schedule is built around a single ground and a hard changeover, which makes a late finish everybody's problem.
A High Cheese schedule puts each game and its slot into every player's phone and moves it in place when a Thursday is postponed, which in a league running six games off one field is the difference between a make-up and a lost date.
