Named division by division, twice a year
This league keeps the fullest champions record in the directory outside Ontario. It runs two seasons a year and names a winner in every division of each.
From spring 2019: the North County Halos in the 18+ National, the Black Sox in the 18+ American, the North County Waves at 35+, the North County Aztecs at 45+, the North County Storm in the Saturday 55+ National, the A.A. Nationals in the Sunday 55+ National South, the Cardinals in the 55+ American, and the North County Indians at 62+.
The pattern across the years shows who the powers are. The Storm won the Saturday 55+ National in spring 2018, summer 2018, spring 2019 and both 2017 seasons. The Aztecs took 45+ in 2017 spring, 2017 summer, spring 2018 and spring 2019. The San Diego Pirates won the 55+ National South four seasons running and the 62+ in summer 2017. The Cardinals held the 55+ American through three straight seasons.
Club names change with the years -- Team Honey Badgers, Primetime Breakers, Team Redback, the Cervecerros, the 65+ Mudcats, Sunday Mud -- which is what a healthy adult league's roster of teams looks like.
Nine champions a season, twice a year, is a great deal of history compressed into one page. A High Cheese league page keeps each of those titles attached to its own season with the bracket and the winning roster on it, so a division championship is a page rather than a line.
