Two competitions in ten weeks
The league keeps a 2026 playoffs page, and its champions list shows a title decided every year since at least 2019. Its president's description of the postseason is short: during the season they have fun and joke, and come playoff time these guys get serious.
Alongside it sits the annual midseason round robin at Colby College in Waterville, a one-day gathering of the whole league that the league treats as good-natured -- competitive fire temporarily on hold.
A championship recorded on a High Cheese league page keeps the bracket, the final and the winning roster attached to the year, so a list of six champions becomes six seasons anyone can read.
