Eleven teams still in it
As of 8 July 2026 the Mud Hens led at 11-3, the reigning champions of the North Meadow, with a league-best run differential of plus 66 -- 125 scored, 59 allowed over fourteen games. The Harlem HA's were level on points at 11-3-1, the Downtown Bulls 11-4-1 with a league-leading 142 runs, the Brooklyn Dukes 10-4 hitting .312 as a team, the Legends 11-6 after a seven-game winning run, and the Skyscrapers 10-5 on the strength of their pitching.
Behind them the Flatbush Owls held the last playoff place at 7-7-1, two and a half games clear of the Kings County Monarchs at 6-11 and Central Park Los Cubs at 5-10, with the Triboro Tigers three and a half back at 4-11-1 and the Goats four and a half back at 3-12. The NYC Mariners were 1-14, and the league's note on them was that they still had seven games in which to spoil somebody else's summer.
Ties are recorded, which is why so many records carry a third number. Standings that rebuild themselves from the reported scores, with the run differential this league already reasons about, are what a High Cheese league page produces without anybody assembling them -- and they stay accurate between the weeks somebody writes a preview.
