Including the Sunday the money is due
The league publishes two seasons a year — spring from January to May, fall from August to November — and dates the run-up to each: pre-season scrimmage games on consecutive July Sundays, then a Sunday marked League Fees Due / Scrimmage Games, then the season opener, all at the Rotary Sports Complex.
Giving the fee deadline its own calendar entry, on the same day as the last scrimmage, is a quietly effective piece of administration: the men who turn up to be picked are the men who pay. A High Cheese calendar carries the whole year — scrimmages, fee day, ten games and the playoff — and subscribes to a player's phone.
