Named for the thing it does not carry
The league's navigation puts a Scoreboard second, ahead of the schedule and the awards. Nothing renders on it for a plain reader, in any division or season.
The results plainly exist — champions, MVPs and Cy Young winners are decided every year from four hundred games — and none of them reach the page named after them. On High Cheese a final entered once becomes the box score, the standings line, the player's record and the season together, so a scoreboard fills itself.
