Certified, and final
Games are officiated by certified umpires who enforce MLB standards, with official scorers keeping runs, hits and errors to MLB guidelines. In-game disputes are resolved by the umpire in charge; anything after the game goes to the league office as a formal complaint.
Separating the on-field ruling from the written complaint is how a league keeps Sunday afternoons from turning into arguments, and it is written down here rather than assumed. No assignor or crew is named and no route to working games is given; on High Cheese the crew attaches to the fixture, so an umpire sees his assignments where the teams see theirs.
Fairbanks MSBL in detail
