Who is allowed on the field
All wood bat. Eighteen and over, eligible on the birthday itself. No player may be actively playing or committed to a college programme at any level, and the league says that explicitly includes college players home for the summer.
A 2026 rules and guidelines document is published separately, alongside the association's own WNCYSA baseball rules and a uniform information page.
The college restriction is the one that makes this league work. A weeknight wood-bat league capped at twelve teams cannot absorb a returning Division II outfielder in June without ruining it for everybody, and the league says so before anybody registers.
High Cheese keeps a league's own rules beside its schedule, so the restriction is read rather than discovered at a tryout.
