Two parks, and the ceiling they impose
Game locations are given as Bob Lewis Park. Tryouts and the team meeting are at Oakley Park, 715 Fairview Road, Asheville, NC 28803. The association also maintains a location directory.
The league states outright that it is capped at twelve teams due to field space, and that its start date depends on field availability. That single constraint decides the size of adult baseball in Asheville.
It is also why weeknight games start at 6:25pm: that is when the diamond comes free.
High Cheese ties a ballpark and a map to the game on the schedule, and carries a national ballpark directory, so a league bounded by two parks can at least be found from anywhere.
