Weeknights, under lights
The season is a ten-game regular season starting in June, followed by single-elimination playoffs, played on quality fields under the lights on weeknights.
Weeknight lights is what makes a 35-and-over league possible for men with families and jobs -- and it is also what makes an afternoon air-quality call necessary rather than a morning one.
The league keeps a Standings section and directs players to it from the front page.
A High Cheese schedule puts each game and its ground into every player's phone and moves it in place when smoke or weather takes an evening, which in a ten-game season costs a tenth of the year.
