Two towns, two brackets, one Sunday
SVABL runs Sunday baseball at 21-and-over and 35-and-over across two zones of the Shenandoah Valley -- Harrisonburg and Winchester, about seventy miles apart on the same interstate -- and publishes a plan for a new 45+ division.
Its clubs include the 21+ and 35+ Virginia Expos at Winchester and the 21+ Spiders and 35+ Brewers at Harrisonburg.
It is new. Its own pages still carry the call to sign up for the inaugural 2025 spring season alongside its 2026 material, which is a league that has not yet had time to tidy up after itself.
Everything it publishes is a form -- registration, waiver, payment, free agent list -- and none of it is a record. A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns, which is what a league in its second season should be starting with rather than adding later.
