Three steps, and it says so
SVABL sets out its process in numbered order: register on the sign-up page, then complete the e-waiver, then pay the fee. Three pages, in sequence, with a contact address given for anyone stuck.
The fee is $250 for the season, or three payments of $85 -- and the league runs separate payment links for individual clubs, so a player who already has a team pays through it rather than centrally. A custom payment option sits alongside for anything else.
Its registration form asks for the usual details plus three that most do not: whether you are in the Harrisonburg or the Winchester area, your age bracket, and a ranked list of up to four teams you would like to be zoned to. It also asks you to attach a photo of your ID.
Anyone with a specific club in mind is told to connect with the team before completing the waiver and paying.
That is a well-designed funnel run entirely on forms. A High Cheese join page takes the registration, the waiver and the fee in one place and drops the player into a pool managers can see -- which is the same three steps with the record kept afterwards.
