Nothing on file
Charlottesville MSBL appears in our directory as a name with no address attached -- no website, no social page, no hosted listing.
Virginia is not badly served elsewhere in these records. There is a 25-and-over congress in the centre of the state with six seasons of standings filed separately, a NABA affiliate in Richmond, a league in the southern counties and two large competitions in the northern suburbs. Charlottesville, between several of them, has nothing.
A university town has a constant supply of people arriving who played somewhere else and want to keep playing. It is the audience most dependent on being able to find a league by searching, because they know nobody to ask.
A High Cheese league page is a permanent address with the schedule, the standings and every roster on it, findable by exactly that man in his first August -- and it costs a league that already exists nothing but the time to claim it.
