Every question, answered properly
Tryouts for the 2026 fall season are on August 23 at 10am at Fort Dorchester High School. The season runs September 18 to November 22. Dues are $300, due before the first game, payable by Venmo, cash or check. The minimum age is 25 with no maximum, and the league is candid enough to say that older players may be better suited to the 35+ or 45+ leagues in the area. Wood bat only. Ten games plus playoffs, one every Sunday with the occasional Friday evening, full schedule released before opening day. Three named grounds with addresses. Six teams currently, with room to expand depending on registrations. And it aims to answer email within one business day.
Almost nothing in this directory answers all five, let alone points a 47-year-old at a different league that would suit him better. A claimed league on High Cheese attaches those answers to a live schedule, a table and a roster per club, so the FAQ stops being the only page that works.
