Honest about the handover
The league describes itself as long-standing, with roots going back over a decade, and states plainly that as of the 2026 spring season it came under new leadership. No founding year, past champion or former club is published.
Saying the leadership changed, rather than quietly presenting a rebuild as continuity, is the credible thing to do and it costs a league nothing — except that a decade of baseball now has no record attached to it. Every season played on High Cheese keeps itself as standings, box scores and rosters together with the champion attached to the year, so a change of leadership inherits the record instead of starting from zero.
