Six, with room for a seventh
The league carries six teams and says its expansion depends directly on how many new players register. Its About page reserves a block headed Meet Our Teams and nothing renders in it.
Telling prospective players that the number of clubs depends on them is an unusually direct way to run recruitment, and it works better when a man can see the six that already exist. Rosters on High Cheese update as men sign and follow a player between clubs and seasons, so a seventh club is visibly created out of a pool rather than announced.
