Level in the Long Island 18+ division
The Long Island Blue Claws are an adult baseball club playing the 18+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 9-9 in 2026 under manager DJ Kregeloh.
Eighteen games and a record dead level. In a division containing a 20-0 club and a 0-13 club, finishing exactly even is the least dramatic thing anybody in this bracket did all summer.
The Blue Claws share their name with the Lakewood minor league club in New Jersey, which is how most adult baseball naming works: pick something that already sounds like a team.
Nine and nine is a record that says nothing without the games behind it, and High Cheese keeps the Blue Claws' schedule and their results on the same page.
