Through the league
Registration for Long Island Blue Claws runs through the Long Island MSBL/MABL rather than the club. LeagueLineup carries the league's online forms, and a player signs up to the league and is placed.
Placement is the league's decision, so choosing Long Island Blue Claws specifically is not something the form asks about.
Being placed by a league office is fine until you have a club in mind, and High Cheese lets Long Island Blue Claws recruit for themselves.
