A league that sends a team out of itself
The Carolina Kraken is a 25+ side selected from the league's best players, representing the CMBL in regional events and national tournaments including the USA Baseball World Series held annually in Myrtle Beach. This year the league is also entering a 35+ team.
The Kraken were invited to Oak Island's opening night against the Loggerheads, a collegiate summer wood bat side in the Old North State League, and won a back-and-forth game 6-3.
Beating a collegiate wood bat team is the kind of result an adult league remembers for a decade, and this one wrote it down.
High Cheese builds and runs brackets and keeps every season, so a touring side's results sit with the league that produced it.
