How to join the Royals
Players do not sign up with Royals directly. They register with the Southwest Washington Adult Baseball League, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
Tryouts run before the season, and a player who misses them can still join through the free agent form.
Somebody who wants the Royals specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
