How to join the Cubs
Players do not sign up with Cubs directly. They register with the Southwest Washington Adult Baseball League, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
The league does not collect fees from individual players. Managers pay the club's balance and collect from their own players.
Somebody who wants the Cubs specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
