Including one of the oldest ballparks in the country
The league publishes a field table with a street address and a map for every ground, and the list is remarkable for a competition this size. It plays at Brown University's Murray Stadium on Hope Street in Providence, at Rhode Island College and at URI, at Macomber Stadium in Central Falls, at Cranston Stadium and Cranston West, and at Cardines Field on America's Cup Avenue in Newport.
Around them: Burgess Field in Smithfield, Calise in Cranston, Davis Park in Providence, Johnston Memorial, Lincoln High, Lischio in North Kingstown, McCarthy and Ray Silva in West Warwick, Mickey Stevens in Warwick, North Providence and North Smithfield high schools, Old Mountain Field in South Kingstown, Pierce and Providence Country Day in East Providence, Renaud in Woonsocket, Seveney in Portsmouth, Sprague in Narragansett and Whipple in Smithfield. Over the state line: Chew Park in Fall River, Gagne in Swansea, and both the high school and middle school in Seekonk.
An adult league holding permits at a university stadium, a state college, a city stadium and a historic ballpark is doing something unusually well.
A High Cheese schedule attaches the right one of those twenty-nine to each game, so a Sunday at Murray Stadium and a Wednesday at Chew Park arrive in the same phone with the same clarity.
