Wood bats, three seasons, one island
The league on this record now runs as the Honolulu Baseball League, and it describes itself as a direct outgrowth of the Oahu Baseball League, long established on the island. It is all wood bat, plays roughly one or two games a week with most of them at weekends and the occasional midweek evening, and it splits into two divisions -- Open, which it also calls D1, and D2 -- so that a wide range of abilities can be sorted rather than mixed.
It is candid about who turns up. Almost everyone played some high school ball, roughly half have college experience, and occasionally an ex-minor leaguer walks in. That is a stronger field than most adult leagues admit to and it is why the second division exists.
What the league does not have is a page that holds any of this together: its seasons live as PDFs stacked down a homepage. A High Cheese league page carries the schedule, the standings and every roster as pages rather than attachments, which for a league already producing all three every week is the same work landing somewhere a search can reach.
