How to join the Portland Beavers
Players do not sign up with Portland Beavers directly. They register with the Northwest Independent Baseball League, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
The way in is the annual open tryout and draft, where clubs pick players for the positions they need.
Somebody who wants the Portland Beavers specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
