Team and free agent registration
Registration for the NY-NJ Tigers runs through the New Jersey Amateur Baseball League. The league takes both team entries and individual free agents, and places unattached players onto clubs.
A player registers with the league, not with a club, and finds out afterward where he has been put.
A player who specifically wants the NY-NJ Tigers has no way to say so, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that preference.
