Team and free agent registration
Registration for the German Valley Colonials runs through the New Jersey Amateur Baseball League. The league takes both team entries and individual free agents, and places unattached players onto clubs.
A player registers with the league, not with a club, and finds out afterward where he has been put.
A player who specifically wants the German Valley Colonials has no way to say so, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that preference.
