Through the league
The New Jersey Amateur Baseball League publishes no direct contact for the German Valley Colonials. Reaching the club means going through the league, which handles registration, placement and manager communication centrally.
Free agents contact the league rather than a club, and get placed.
A club reachable only through a league office is one step removed from anybody who wants to play for it, and High Cheese gives German Valley Colonials an inbox of their own.
