Class A baseball in Duluth, Minnesota
The Twin Ports Timbers are an amateur baseball club playing Class A in the Metro Minny League under the Minnesota Baseball Association, at Wade Stadium in Duluth, Minnesota. They went 12-6-1 in 2026 under manager Marina Udd.
Wade Stadium was built by the WPA in 1941 out of paving bricks salvaged from Duluth's streets, and it has housed professional and amateur baseball on West 35th Avenue ever since. It was restored in 2015 and it is, by a distance, the best ballpark any club in this directory calls home.
Twin Ports is Duluth and Superior, Wisconsin, the two halves of the harbor at the western end of Lake Superior, and the Timbers are named for what the region shipped before it shipped iron.
A hundred and eighteen classification points is high metropolitan Class A, which is a strange grade for a club that is a hundred and fifty miles from the metropolitan area. The Metro Minny is the deepest league the association runs and Duluth are in it, which means the shortest road trip of the season is two and a half hours.
Six games over is a strong return from that arrangement.
Wade Stadium was laid in 1941 from Duluth's own salvaged paving bricks. High Cheese gives the Timbers the page where the ballpark gets more than a street number.
