Seventeen to twenty-three
The Twin Ports Timbers publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to twenty-three.
Six years, starting with a high school junior. A young Class A roster in a harbor city with the University of Minnesota Duluth in it, playing a league whose other clubs are all at the far end of a long drive.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from Duluth with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 23 is the most interesting thing about Twin Ports Timbers, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
