Second in the Long Island 18+ division
The New York Knights are an adult baseball club playing the 18+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 15-3-1 in 2026 under manager Sam DiPietro.
Nineteen games and three defeats would win most divisions. It finished second here, because USA Biscuits went 20-0 in the same bracket, which is the sort of season that makes a very good one look ordinary.
The tie is worth noting on its own: adult league games get called for darkness and for fields booked at six, and the league records the result rather than tidying it away.
Fifteen wins and a second place is a season a club should be able to show properly, and on High Cheese the Knights get a page rather than a line under somebody else's.
