Two under in the Long Island 25+ division
The Massapequa Braves are an adult baseball club playing the 25+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 8-10-1 in 2026 under manager Chris DeSimone.
Nineteen games, two under, with a tie in the middle of it. Massapequa is a Nassau County hamlet on the south shore, and it puts three clubs into this league across three age brackets: the Braves at 25+, the Cardinals at 45+ and the Pirates at 60+.
Three Massapequa sides in three brackets is a town properly served by one league, which is rarer than it sounds.
A hamlet fielding three clubs across three age groups is a real local baseball story and none of it is visible from a standings table, which is the gap a High Cheese page closes.
