Top of the Long Island 45+ division
The Long Island Sundevils are an adult baseball club playing the 45+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 13-3 in 2026 under manager Mike Schippell, the best record in the bracket.
Sixteen games and three defeats, from men who are all at least forty-five. The 45+ division is the smallest in this league at four clubs, which means everybody plays everybody several times and there is nowhere to hide.
Sun Devils is Arizona State's name, brought to Long Island by somebody who presumably went there.
Winning a four club division means beating the same three sides repeatedly, which is harder than it sounds and invisible in a table; a High Cheese page holds the games that show it.
