One under in the Long Island 55+ division
The Long Island Rays are an adult baseball club playing the 55+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 9-10 in 2026 under manager Ray Shah.
Nineteen games and one under. Ray Shah also manages the Midweek Rays in the same 55+ division, which makes him the only person in this league running two clubs in one bracket.
Two Rays sides in one age group, one of them explicitly the midweek team, suggests a group of men who wanted more baseball than one schedule offered.
A manager running two clubs in the same division needs two distinct addresses to keep them apart, and High Cheese gives the Rays theirs.
