One defeat in the Long Island 35+ division
The Long Island Black Sox are an adult baseball club playing the 35+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 15-1-2 in 2026 under manager Jimmy Rose, the best record in the bracket.
Eighteen games and one defeat. In a league where only USA Biscuits at 18+ went unbeaten, losing once across a full 35+ season is the next best thing anybody did.
The 35+ bracket is where adult baseball stops being a continuation of college and starts being a decision. Nine of these clubs played this year, and the Black Sox beat all of them but once.
One defeat and two ties is a season worth keeping properly, and on High Cheese the Black Sox get the games rather than a percentage column.
