Three defeats in the Long Island 25+ division
The LI/Metro Cardinals are an adult baseball club playing the 25+ division of the Long Island MSBL/MABL. They went 12-3-2 in 2026 under manager Joe Plumitallo.
Three defeats is the fewest anybody managed in this bracket, and two ties is among the most. Seventeen games, three lost, and the club still finished behind Greenlawn on wins.
Two ties in one season is a lot of darkness and a lot of fields handed over at six o'clock.
A table that ranks on wins puts a three-defeat club second, which is the sort of thing a standings page never explains and a High Cheese page can.
