A founder, and several transitions since
The league names Larry Wiggins as the man who established it in 1989 and credits the solid foundation he laid for the fact that many of the original structures, rules and formats remain intact. It also says openly that it has been through several leadership transitions and name changes since.
Nobody currently holding office is named — not a president, commissioner or director — for an organization of twenty-five to thirty clubs across four divisions. High Cheese lets a league name its officers and hand out real permissions, so the person running the Weeknight Division has an account and a face rather than a general inbox.
