A season that finished properly
The results run game by game and the 2022 season ends the way a season should: Rockies 11 Brewers 2 on October 12, Blue Jays 10 Twins 2 on October 10, and before them a September of Americans 12 Twins 1, Angels 6 Brewers 3, Rockies 16 Americans 8.
Somebody entered every one of those, right through to the last Wednesday in October, and then the site stopped. Twelve seasons of that work now sit under a deletion notice. On High Cheese a final entered once becomes the box score, the standings line and the season record together, on a page that belongs to the league and outlives whoever was doing the typing.
