Starting when everyone else is halfway through
The league plays July through October, which is the reverse of nearly every other summer league in this directory. Its last recorded fixtures ran to October 12.
At the Jersey shore that is a considered decision: June belongs to the season, the beach and everybody's other commitments, and September and October are when Ocean County gets its towns back. Playing into the autumn also means the fields are free. A High Cheese calendar carries a whole season and pushes a change to every player's phone, so a league running when the others have finished is easy to find and easy to join late.
